After a few years of photographing their grandbabies, Pam and John invited me to their beautiful home on Glen Lake. Once the whole family was there, there were more than 40 people! What a blessing to have built such an incredible legacy. And YES they did all jump in the lake at the end of the party!!

Typically Legacy Sessions happen because the whole family is together in celebration of something. This time we were gathered to celebrate Erin's graduation, but this was not my first time hanging out with this awesome family!  I think I am an Honorary Member already!

My favorite part of Kevin and Stacy's 25th Anniversary Celebration was watching this family dynamic. It was plain to see that these were not the type of people that only got together for the holidays. This family has loud kitchens, huge Christmas trees, and family traditions for days.

Debbie and Jay got the surprise of a lifetime when their children planned a huge party for them to celebrate 50 years of marriage! I was "in" on the plan, so what they thought was just a family photo session turned into a parade of family and friends collected over the last half-century.

The long-lasting impact of events, and choices of a person’s life.

     These sessions are for those special and oftentimes rare moments when the whole family is together. While I am with you there will be extra attention paid to all the special little groups (Millennial-Cousins, I'm looking at you!) as well as the group as a whole. Each family unit will have their own time with me! This means that you can update your own family photos and kid's portraits at the same time. It's like having a personal Mini Session Day for your whole family.

     When was the last time you looked around a packed room and saw that nearly everyone had the same shape eyes, or Granddad's chin? Or sat back in that noisy room and reflected on how much love went into the making of this Great family? Soon the holiday parties grow exponentially, and the number of generations in the room increases with the introduction of Grandbabies, and GREAT-Grandbabies.

     When I meet a family, the whole family, I love to steal a few moments of time from the Elders and listen to their stories. It makes me excited to see what kind of Legacy I may build one day.

      With my experience in wedding photography I am well prepared to notice the little details and extra effort you put into planning your party. Furthermore, if there is a Guest of Honor I will make sure to highlight them in your gallery.

      I am covering a TON of ground with this one. We're talking engagement party, B' Mitzvah, baby shower, holiday party, birthday bash, graduation celebration... Basically any gathering that does not qualify as a wedding fits into this category!

     This service is something I enjoy very much. Events such as these are often more relaxed than say, a wedding, and I get to spend a bit of time catching completely candid interactions between "Old Friends" and family that haven't seen each other in forever.

     You can share the gallery link with everyone as soon as it is available, this is a big hit! Everyone loves that they can see the whole gallery and download the ones they want to keep. It's a lovely way to stay connected after everyone goes back to their own corner of the world.


My rate is $550 per hour, with a minimum of two hours. Please inquire for full details.
